| This wood panel (probably the antependium of an old altar) is on the side wall of the sacristy at the church of the Frari. The work of an anonymous Venetian artist of the XV century. The Virgin is flanked by Saints Francis and Mark. It's the only Madonna della Misericordia in a landscape. |

to get there. From
Campo
San Tomà: Cut across the campo to either side of the Scuola dei
Calegheri.
Take the street that ends right at the back of the scuola, Calle Larga,
to Campo dei Frari. The church will be right in front of you. Turn
right and look for the entrance. |
