This XIV century
Gothic relief with traces of colors on the ground floor of the Scuola
San Giovanni
Evangelista came from the demolished church of Santa Lucia. The
standing Madonna protects eight worshipers. Mary wears a
crown (90 cm x 140 cm).
How to get there. From the Frari church take Fondamenta dei Frari to Campo San Stin (after Ponte and Rio San Stin). Exit the campo from the northwest corner (Calle del Tabacco). Make a right turn on Calle del Magazen, the scuola will be on your left.
