The
first wellhead can be found in the courtyard of the Istituto Univeristario di Architettura di
Venezia, next to the church of San Nicolò da Tolentino,
Santa Croce, and the second one in the courtyard of the Univerità Ca' Foscari, by
the Grand Canal in Dorsoduro. I must correct myself. These are two
different institutions. Ca' Foscari was founded in 1868 as a business
school and now encompasses many other disciplines. IUAV, founded in
1926, was one of the first architecture schools in Italy and
specializes in construction, design and conservation. Through the "Erasmus veneziano" program students
from both universities can participate in any of their courses without
paying an extra fee.
